Location : Victoria
Weather : Overcast
Mountain FC - 0 : 1 - West Coast Capital
Half-time score : 0:0 (mtn:oppos)
A cooler day after a relaxing evening at the hotel which produced a Mountain team with more energy for the second game against the West Coast Capital. Again a slow start from the visitors which was risky agents the solid home team who are well organised but as the game went on Mountain battle hard which didn’t give the home side a chance to settle. With more pace up front the visitors started to create more chances although the Home side created the best change of the half but hit the cross bar. The Second half started very much the way the first half had gone until a clearance at the back deflected into the path of the Home side’s best player who took a touch and scored. The reaction of the visitors who a joy to behold, the girls battled for every ball and were the stronger team through-out but for all their procession they couldn’t create that killer chance and even towards the end with three up front the rub of the green was all that was need to come away with at least a point. The game ended 1 v 0 to the home side but Mountain had done the club and the travelling support proud. Bring on the next game.
