Mountain FC - 4 : 1 - Thompson - Okanagan FC
Half-time score : 1:1 (mtn:oppos)
The team was looking to bounce back after losing the season opener. It would be a big challenge to travel to the Okanagan and get a result from a difficult opponent who has been playing extremely well. The boys started well but were down a goal after 15 minutes on a lucky cross that found the corner of the net. The team continued to play well and were rewarded just before half time on a good finish from Race Williams from a through ball from Justin Dhaliwal. The boys continued to dominate ball possesion in the second half and took the lead on a fine volley from Justin Dhaliwal at 50 minutes with a nice assist from Brandon Samuel. Race Williams scored again at 65 minutes on a great pass from Justin Duck and he completed his hat trick at 75 minutes with a brilliant free kick to the upper right corner.
