Location : Abbotsford - Bateman Park
Weather : Overcast
Mountain FC - 0 : 1 - Abbotsford
Half-time score : 0:0 (mtn:oppos)
This was the second game of a back to back weekend for the boys. It was noticeable early that the energy level was not where it was from the previous day and that it would be a challenge to achieve a good result. The game was a scambly affair with much of the play in the middle third. Mountain did create some opportunities but were denied by the large Abbotsford keeper. With about 15 minutes remaining Abbotsford scored after a fortunate rebound off the cross bar. The boys conitnued to create but were denied by a strong game from the opposition keeper. A poor result in an important game.

Location : Vernon
Weather : Sunny / Warm
Mountain FC - 2 : 1 - Thompson - Okanagan FC
Half-time score : 0:0 (mtn:oppos)
The boys took to the field on a sunny and warm day in a peaceful setting in Vernon. Much of the play early resided in the oppositions half but the energy level of the boys was low and little opportunity was created in the first half. Ten minutes into the second half Mountain conceded a penalty shot that was converted into the first deficit of the year for the team. With fifteen minutes remaining Zach Or made a strong surging run on the left before crossing perfectly into the path of Race Williams for an easy header to level the score. The energy level was then elevated and after some excellent dribbling in the Okanagan box Race Williams was tripped leading to a Mountain penalty kick with five minutes remaining. Parker Ellis calmly placed the ball into the corner with the winning goal. This was not a strong performance by the boys but they demonstrated strong character in scoring the two late goals pull out the victory.
