MOUNTAIN FC DEVELOPMENTAL ACADEMY 2010/2011 |
Mountain FC is very pleased to announce the Mountain FC Developmental Academy to launch this September. Phase 1 will run from September to December with Phase 2 operating from January to March, 2011. Details on the Phase 1 schedule are posted below.
The Academy will target the following age groups: U10 (born 2001), U11 (born 2000) and U12 (born1999) boys and girls with a maximum 12 players per group for a total of 36 boys and 36 girls. Each Phase will include 10 sessions of 90 minutes each with a focus on skills, technique and movement. The Girls Academy will operate on Saturday mornings from 9:15 to 10:45am while the Boys Academy will operate on Monday evenings from 7:15 to 8:45pm. Both programs will be held at the Burnaby North Turf Field (Hastings St. at Fell Ave.).
The Academy will be led by our Technical Director, Frank Ciaccia and will involve current Mountain FC team coaches. The fee for each Phase is $200 while participants will also be required to commit to a one-time uniform purchase of $150 (please note the uniform fee is mandatory and includes a complete set of Adidas attire at a special Academy rate).
Selections to the Academy will be made through the following evaluations:
Open Session: Sunday, September 12, 2010 Completed
U10 Boys & Girls 4:00 – 5:15pm
U11 Boys & Girls 5:30 – 6:45pm
U12 Boys & Girls 7:00 – 8:15pm

These evaluations will be held at the Burnaby Lake West Sports Complex, Field #5.
